Terms of use
1Who you are dealing with
Persian360 is operated by Fascina, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under KVK 80238424. Persian360 is a LearnAnyLanguage project. Reach us at support@learnanylanguage.com, or by replying to any email we send you.
These terms are the agreement between you and Fascina for the use of Persian360. By creating an account you accept them.
2What Persian360 is — and is not
Persian360 is a browser extension and an account that go alongside a video service you already have access to. While you watch, it turns the subtitles that the video player has already loaded into your own browser into an interactive learning surface: clickable words, meanings in context, a personal vocabulary, and review sessions.
What it is not:
- It is not a video service. We do not host, stream, sell, or supply any film, series, or subtitle file. You need your own lawful access to the site you are watching.
- It is not affiliated with Televika or IMVBOX, or with any other site it works on. Those are independent services with their own terms, which you are responsible for following.
- It is not a translation service and makes no promise that any meaning, transliteration, or explanation is free of error. It is a study aid.
If a site we support changes, blocks the extension, or asks us to stop, the extension may stop working there. That is outside our control.
3Your account
You sign in with a link sent to your email address — there is no password. Anyone holding that link can get into your account, so treat it as you would a password and do not forward it. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.
One account per person. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live; if you are under 16, a parent or guardian has to agree to these terms for you.
4Tokens
Actions inside Persian360 are paid for with tokens (⚡). Tokens are a prepaid balance for using this service. They are not money, carry no cash value, earn no interest, and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged between accounts.
- The price of every action is shown before you spend on it, and the current list is on the pricing section of the home page.
- Prices can change. A change never affects tokens you have already spent, and we will say so on the site before it takes effect.
- Tokens bought in a pack do not expire.
- Learning is never paywalled. Your saved words, your review sessions, and every episode you have unlocked stay available to you at a zero balance, for as long as your account exists.
- Some actions cost more because they cost us more — preparing an episode nobody has opened before pays for real work done at that moment.
5Plans and fair use
Unlimited plans are for one person's own learning. There is no hard cap in your way, but there is a limit that only usage far beyond any human watching pace can reach. As of this version that limit is 20,000⚡ of spending in a day.
If an account crosses it:
- First time — a temporary pause of 24 hours. New episode unlocks and in-context explanations stop. Word lookups, saving, reviews, and every episode you have already unlocked keep working.
- Second time — the account goes under review. The same things keep working. We look at what happened, and removing an account from the platform is a decision a person makes, not something automatic.
- Either way you can reply to any Persian360 email and tell us we have it wrong.
Sharing one account between several people, or running it automatically, is what this rule exists to catch.
6Payment, cancelling, refunds
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Prices include VAT where it applies. Fascina is the seller on your statement.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time — your plan then runs to the end of the period you have already paid for and is not renewed. We do not refund part of a period you have used.
- Right of withdrawal. As a consumer in the EU you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. Because tokens and plans are usable immediately, you are asked to agree that delivery starts at once, which ends that right for what you have used. Whatever you have not used, we refund on request within those 14 days.
- If something is broken on our side — an action charged you and did not happen — tell us and we will put the tokens back. That is not a favour; it is what you paid for.
7How you may use it
Use Persian360 for your own language learning. Please do not:
- share an account, or resell access to one;
- automate it, scrape it, or pull data out of it in bulk;
- work around the token system, the fair-use limits, or any access control;
- use it to build a competing dataset or product;
- use it for anything unlawful, or in a way that harms the service or other people using it.
8Content and rights
Subtitles belong to whoever made and licensed them. Persian360 does not copy them to other people: it works on what your own browser has already received, and stores the annotations derived from it to serve your account.
Your vocabulary, your review history, and your notes are yours. You may export and keep them for your own study. The software, the design, the difficulty gradings, and the annotation data as a collection remain ours, and are not yours to republish or redistribute.
9Availability
Persian360 is provided as it is, without a promised level of uptime. During early access in particular, features can change, be paused, or be withdrawn. We will not do that to something you have already paid for without either restoring the value or refunding it.
10Liability
Nothing here limits liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or any right you have as a consumer that cannot be signed away — those rights stand whatever this document says.
Beyond that, our liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. We are not responsible for the video services you use Persian360 alongside, or for what they do.
11Ending it
You can stop at any time: cancel any plan, and ask us to delete your account (see the privacy policy for what deletion covers). Unused pack tokens are refundable on request as described in section 6.
We can suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, that goes through the fair-use process twice, or where we are legally required to. If we end an account that has done nothing wrong, we refund what is unused.
12Law
Dutch law applies, and disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and you may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
